Her research focuses on the distribution of microplastics in sediments along the Fraser River, studying sites from Hope to the river delta to better understand how plastic pollution moves through fresh- and brackish-water environments. She has a background in Marine Biology from São Paulo State University and is interested in aquatic pollution, sediment processes, environmental conservation, and science communication.\nAna’s presentation will take place after the Mossom Creek Hatchery’s weekly Salmon Sunday work party & open house.
