Volunteer Opportunity: Planting Work Party at Blakeburn Reflection Garden
Wednesday, March 15, 9:30am – 12:00 noon
Join BMN members and others to support the City of Port Coquitlam’s enhancement of the Reflection Garden site at Blakeburn Lagoons Park. We will be installing small plants and shrubs in this garden area to add more flowering plants and diversity to this site. Bring along your favorite small garden tools (e.g., trowel or small spade), garden gloves and pruning shears or hand-held snips. Some garden tools will also be available at this session. The Reflection Garden is located on the east side of the East Lagoon at this park. We will meet at the garden site with the closest access via the park entrance just off south end of Fremont Street (2900 Block).
Please send an email to burkemtnnats@gmail.com to RSVP so we have an idea of how many people plan to attend.
Thanks for volunteering in another habitat enhancement project at Blakeburn Lagoons Park.
