The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) Wildlife Protection Club, in collaboration with Nature Canada and the Fraser Valley Conservancy, are hosting a free showing of Toad People on November 30th (Wednesday), from 5-7pm.
‘Toad People’ tells the story of families and communities across BC who are taking action to save the wildlife in their backyard, including conservation efforts in the Fraser Valley. Following the 50minute film, there be a buffet of snacks/refreshments and letter writing stations set-up where attendees can write messages to the Prime Minister expressing why Canada should protect more natural areas. These messages will be collected by Nature Canada as part of their cross-country tour and delivered to the Prime Minister at the UN Convention of Biodiversity (Nature COP) on December 6th. Kids are welcome!
