April Club In-Person Meeting: “Hummingbirds” presented by photographer Ron Long

We all know that hummingbirds are unique but few realize just how unique they really are. This talk will explore extraordinary facts about hummingbirds using Ron’s own photographs from Costa Rica, Brazil and Ecuador as well as our own backyards.

Ron Long was the sciences photographer at Simon Fraser University for 36 years. Now retired, Ron travels to and photographs nature hotspots around the world.

Ron is a BMN member, and he has shared his photos with us many times in the past. His presentations are always a visual treat. Bring a friend!

Held at Como Lake United Church, 535 Marmont St. Coquitlam. There is underground parking (enter from the lane behind the church, which can be accessed off Marmont or Gatensbury) and ample street parking.
