Free ‘Birding for Beginners’ at ƛ̓éxətəm Regional Park

The Lower Coquitlam River Nature Association is hosting this family-friendly and informative bird-watching trip for beginners! Learn about local bird species, their habitats, and how to identify them. Our experienced guides will lead you on a birding trip through the park, pointing out different species and sharing interesting facts along the way. Bring your binoculars (but if you don’t have a pair, loaners will be available).

Look for the tent by the entrance of the community gardens at the end of Colony Farm Road.

Free, but registration is required.
