Friends of DeBoville Slough
In January 2022, the Friends of DeBoville Slough (FoDBS) teamed up with BMN to form a new BMN committee — the BMN/FODBS Committee.
DeBoville Slough starts at the corner of Victoria Drive and Cedar Drive on the border of NE Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam. It runs approximately 2 kilometres out to the Pitt River.

Mission & Goals
Mission
To maintain and enhance the ecological integrity of DeBoville Slough and the surrounding area through education, community involvement, research, land preservation and partnerships based upon stewardship principles.
Goals
To compile and use research and information to guide stewardship activities.
To provide educational opportunities and information on good stewardship and potential enhancement works to the general public, surrounding landowners and recreational users. This would include subjects such as ecosystem values and natural and local history.
To encourage public enjoyment of and responsibility towards the DeBoville Slough and surrounding area.
