BMN Evening Botany Walk: Mundy Lake
BMN Evening Botany Walk: Mundy Lake
Thursday June 18, 7pm – 8:30pm
On this easy evening walk, we will wander deep into Coquitlam’s Mundy Park to botanize around Mundy Lake. This is a reliable site to see Labrador Tea, Bogbean and other plants of the water’s edge.
Bring your guidebooks, sketchpad, and iNaturalist or Seek apps. And maybe some insect repellent, just in case. We go rain or shine, but if it’s really rainy or smoky, this event will be cancelled. Check the BMN Events Calendar before you head out for an update if conditions look questionable. Note that Mundy Lake is located in an area is off-limits to dogs.
Meet near the entrance of the Mundy Park Fieldhouse, 629 Hillcrest St, Coquitlam. The Field House is adjacent to the tot-lot playground. There are two parking lots nearby plus street parking along Hillcrest.
