Jenn Burt, Marine Biologist at SFU, provided a fascinating presentation at our March monthly meeting on her research on kelp forest ecology. Everyone, including the birds, were enjoying the sunshine yesterday near Noons Creek in Port Moody. We counted 23 species during the Great Backyard Bird Count. Thanks Bird Studies Canada and Noons Creek Hatchery.
