The “Sue Big Oil” group will be making a delegation to Coquitlam City Council at the Council-in-Committee meeting on Monday July 14, 2:00 PM, at City Hall. A rally will be held outside City Hall starting at 1:15. Members are welcome to attend.

Sue Big Oil is a class action lawsuit initiated by West Coast Environmental Law. Burnaby, Port Moody and nine other municipalities have already signed on to hold major polluters accountable. On July 14, Coquitlam youth will lead a Sue Big Oil delegation at Coquitlam City Hall, calling on Council to join the growing movement to hold fossil fuel companies accountable for the rising costs of climate change.
