Hyde Creek Hatchery’s Free ‘Annual Salmon Return’ Tours

Saturday, November 21, 9am – 2pm

This is an opportunity for all ages to view returning salmon up close, tour the urban Hyde Creek Hatchery, and learn about the local watershed lifecycle. Volunteers from the Hyde Creek Watershed Society will lead family-friendly tours lasting about 20 minutes. There will be excellent views of spawning salmon in nearby Hyde Creek.

Hyde Creek Hatchery is located at 3636 coast Meridian Rd in Port Coquitlam. There is only limited parking at the hatchery, and it is strongly recommended that if coming by car, you park at the nearby Hyde Creek Recreation Center (1379 Laurier Ave) and walk the short distance upstream to the hatchery.
