Development of the ESP
The ESP was developed through comprehensive research and analysis, as well as through extensive public engagement, over a four-phase process that began in spring 2019. In total, through the entire project development, the team had more than 1,600 survey responses, more than 4,500 comments and 35 pop-up, in-person or virtual engagement opportunities. Thank you to everyone who provided their feedback on this important project. Excerpt from City of Coquitlam website. https://letstalkcoquitlam.ca/enviroplan
January 17, 2022 Update: The newly revised Environmental Sustainability Plan came out this afternoon. BMN has finished checking our October response to the ESP against the new version and are happy to report that 13 of our suggested edits were adopted, including strengthened wording and additions to actions. This is good news and something we can build upon!
