On August 27th and 28th 2022, our community came together to weave Cedar hearts, express respect for Nature, and share thoughts about Reconciliation over bannock and tea: Weaving our Story Towards Reconciliation
Honoured to be part of this journey.
Gratitude to Priscilla Omulo, Karla Thompson-MacDonald, BC Culture Days | Fête de la culture Tri Cities Community TV, all the wonderful folks from Wondrous Tree Fellowship – formerly PoCo Heritage Trees, Burke Mountain Naturalists, Colony Farm Park Association, Poco Arts Council, Amnesty International, Tri-Cities Chapter, Leonard, Wayne, and all the community members who participated. Thanks also to Port Coquitlam Kinsmen for generously providing a venue.
Thanks to all who coordinated and contributed to this excellent community event. BMN appreciated the chance to participate in this event at the Burke Mountain Naturalists display table with our volunteers.
